MAC Disney Maleficent Collection for Summer 2014

Hi Divas & Gents,

MAC and Disney have come together again for the well anticipated Disney Movie Maleficent Starring Angelina Jolie Summer 2014.

Being bad never looked so good.

MAC Cosmetics has announced that they will be teaming up with Disney’s “Mistress of All Evil,” Maleficent for a line this spring. The limited edition line will include 11 pieces and will be face, eye, lip and nail products.

The iconic label has dedicated an entire color collection to the evil queen of "Maleficent." Judging by Jolie's creepy beauty look on the film's poster, MAC must have been impressed. The popular starlet appears as a truly sinister witch, with perfectly arched eyebrows, piercing bright green eyes and blood-red lips.

If you can remember we already saw a Mac and Disney collaboration which dealt with most famous Disney villains. It was called Venomous Villains. Mac Venomous Villains collection launched in fall 2010 and it featured Maleficent, of course. That collection sold out immediately and the most loved items were from Maleficent line, indeed, suche as She Who Dares and Revenge is Sweet. That collection had for Maleficent mineral eyeshadows duos, bold and dark lipsticks and lipglasses, amazingly beautiful nail polishes and a purplish beauty powder. All came in dark colours with strong purple tones, perfect for a cool, mysterious and arcane beauty.
What can we expect from this collection maybe dark, bold and purple colours as well in Mac Maleficent collection?
It’s a summer collection since these kind of colours are more suitable for fall/winter but of course this collection comes along with the Disney movie.

The company has yet to debut the collection's photos, but that didn't stop us from making predictions on what the products might look like.

We can already guess that doing a second "Maleficent" range must mean MAC's first one was super-successful. This time around, we're expecting a collection focused on dark, dramatic and eye-catching colors that mix glam with goth. It wouldn't be surprising if the label also included a bold, vibrant red lipstick or nail shade, too.
The assortment will have its global debut next summer, according to the brand's Facebook page. We hear the range will coincide with the film, arriving in theaters on May 30, 2014.
What do you think about this collection? Did you purchase the first collection or will it be a miss?
Stay Beautiful!!
Miss Mika
